From his days in the 'Ida B Wells-housing projects' in the Bronzeville-area of Chicago, IL., Glynn Hall knew that he wanted to get into the music industry in some form or fashion. From his days of singing in groups, writing & producing music, to playing organ/piano and directing the choir in church, to getting on college radio on WIDB (in Carbondale, IL., at Southern Illinois University), to his re-emergence back on-the-air on WKKC 89.3 FM (in Chicago, IL.) on his radio hero's (Richard Pegue's) old-show, "The Best Music Of Your Life' (hosted by Ray Neal...since 2010). From July 2012 - October 2015 'The Mayor Of Motown' Glynn Hall co-hosted Ray Neal's carnation of 'The Best Music Of Your Life'. In Nov. 2016, Glynn began hosting his own show, again, 'The Glynn Hall-Dusty Record Show', which is still going strong as of today.

'The Dustyologist', SHERL JACKSON,
a 20+ year veteran of Chicago radio, she worked side-by-side with Chicago radio legend Richard Peguee' on WGCI, WVON and other stations. Sherl specializes in finding the hidden gems and songs that are unique and too amazing to forget.

JACKIE LESHELL aka "JACQUi-O"
is the baby of the bunch. New to radio, but no stranger to music and entertaining, she brings her own humor and sass to the WJVX crew.

The late-great Alvin 'Vince Brown' Washington, Jr.
born September 4, 1972, died August 5, 2023.
He was 'the voice' of many radio media outlets, he did color-commentary for many sports games, and was Program Director for several stations, as well.
For WjVX Radio, he initiated the idea of creating another OldSkool-radio outlet compared to the ones that were operating at that time. He, alongside Mike Richardson, & Sigmund Abercrombie, they were all apart of another radio station, but became disillusioned after 4 years of stagnancy. By June of 2019, along with Chauncey Wordlaw, and Glynn Hall, they began production on WjVX Radio, and, on Monday, July 1, 2019, @6:00am CST, the very 1st broadcast was transmitted via internet, which was the show "Motown in the morning"

KEISHA TIGGS and her seductive, sexy & sultry voice is another staple of WjVX Radio. She can be heard on the 'FOR STEPPERS ONLY' show (Sundays 6-9pm CST), and on the 'AFTER DARK Program' (M-Th 8pm-12midnight CST). She's infamous for her memorable phrases... "we're steppin, baby, on WjVX", and "i don't have on nothin...but the 'after dark program', on WjVX".

LISA LONDON, 'the weekend girl',
a Radio-Personality of WjVX, who has been a staple for the station since it's inception in 2019. Enjoy "The Lisa London-Show ('inside the quiet storm')" on Sunday nights, 9pm-12midnight CST.

In Chicago, IL., the architecture of "Classic-soul, OldSkool-music, & Dusty Records" was laid down by legendary DJs/Radio-Personalitys - Herb Kent, and then Richard Pegue'. Their styles of entertaining via the radio ariwaves were impeccable, and are used as the measuring-stick for most of those who follow in their footsteps today.
Al Greer (Radio-Personality, & owner of WOSD Radio, in Chicago, IL.) is a '2nd-generation' torch-carrier of 'Classic-soul, OldSkool-music, & Dusty Records', and he can be noted as the 'tree that bore many branches'. Al Greer's station begat '3' gentlemen who manufactured the early stages of WjVX Radio (Alvin 'Vince Brown' Washington...far left... Glynn 'The Mayor Of Motown' Hall...next to Brown... & Michael 'Sugar-D' Richardson...far right), along with Sigmund Abercrombie, and Chauncey Wordlaw (both not pictured), 'the 3rd-generation' of torch-carriers of OldSkool-music.
On Monday, July 1, 2019, WjVX went on-the-air @6am, with it's intial broadcast being 'Motown In The Morning'.
As of today, in January 2026, history is still being made as we strive to evolve and become bigger and better in this over-crowded arena of OldSkool-music radio broadcasting.
